This compact and easy-to-read digital tachometer with blue illuminated display gives extremely precise engine speed info within a tolerance range of only 10rpm and will be the perfect fit for any dashboard.
A blinking display signals overheating and over-revving; the alarm can be manually adjusted.
There is a 5-step adjustment for the backlighting; please note that for the backlight to work the instrument has to be connected to an external 12V supply (scooter battery).
The tachometer is quick and easy to mount via the ignition wire.
The temperature sensor (included) has a PT 1/8 thread and is suitable for the cylinder heads of all Minarelli engines. Temperature sensors with differing thread sizes for other engine types (Piaggio, Peugeot, Derbi, AM6 etc) are available separately.
We also carry a temperature sensor that can be integrated into the cooling hose and another one for use with air-cooled cylinders.
Pro tip: we recommend using a HQ resistor spark plug to suppress interferences and reduce rpm reading errors.
